The EB-5 Program was created in 1990 by the U.S. Congress to stimulate the U.S. economy through foreign capital investments which will promote job creation. In 1992, Congress created the Regional Center as part of the EB-5 Program, which sets aside EB-5 visas for participants who invest in commercial enterprises to further grow the program.
On March 15, 2022, the Regional Center Program was reauthorized.
